Who We Are

We are a concerned group of Lake County, IN, residents who volunteer our time to prevent child abuse and neglect. We are members of local businesses, social services and healthcare organizations, and the community.

We are a primary prevention organization. Our focus is to prevent child abuse and neglect by increasing awareness and advocacy through education, community involvement, and local partnerships.

Together we work toward a time when all children in Lake County experience a childhood in which they are safe, cared for, and loved. This is our mission.

PCALC is a Chartered Council of Prevent Child Abuse Indiana.
