About PCALC

Prevent Child Abuse Lake County is a non-profit organization to help raise awareness of child abuse in Lake County, Indiana. 

PCALC serves as a Primary Prevention Agency that prevents child abuse and neglect through educations, increased awareness and advocacy as its mission. We see an important need to educate parents on parenting so that the children of Lake County are not abused or neglected due to lack of parenting skills education.

Cities we serve include: Cedar Lake, Crown Point, Dyer, East Chicago, Gary, Griffith, Hammond, Highland, Hobart, Lake Station, Leroy, Lowell, Merrillville, Munster, Saint John, Schererville, Schneider, Shelby, and Whiting, Indiana.
